Enhanced Navigation
Products are now organized by type, aligning seamlessly with the website’s structure for a more intuitive selection process.
The introduction of the QuickShip product offering enables dealerships to easily locate and specify products that meet their clients’ needs.
This rollout represents Phase 1 of Source International’s new CET user interface (UI), with additional refinements forthcoming. The new UI ensures consistency across all CET extensions, enhancing user familiarity and ease of use.
Scrolling has been minimized by streamlining product icons and incorporating feature selections within the quick properties box, making it easier for users to scan product offerings.
Improved 2D/3D Graphics
All products now insert in a neutral finish, reducing distractions during live design sessions and allowing clients to focus on product selection rather than default finish colors. • Enhanced symbol intelligence now allows for product stretching capabilities, eliminating the need to switch symbols for different sizes or features. The Source International extension fully leverages CET’s core features to meet user expectations. • Product categories have been updated to align with CET standards, helping designers better manage their view modes. • IND tags now display product names instead of part numbers, allowing users to quickly and easily identify products within 2D plans.
Refined Specifications
Features and finishes now default to 'Undecided', ensuring that users make deliberate selections and reducing the likelihood of accidental choices.
Users can now right-click and query a product, a function that aligns with standard expectations across all CET extensions.
Enhanced Calculations
The 'Complete' column will remain marked as 'No (N)' if finishes and options are not selected, giving users a clear indicator of which products require attention.
Product descriptions have been expanded to include product names and detailed features, providing a clearer understanding of each part number.
IND tags are now editable within the Calculation tab, meeting user expectations for greater customization and flexibility.
