Samuli Naamanka (b. 1969) is a Finnish interior architect and product designer renowned for blending traditional craftsmanship with innovative, sustainable design. A graduate of Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture, he further honed his skills at Denmark’s Design School. Naamanka’s diverse portfolio encompasses furniture, lighting, and environmental design, reflecting his commitment to ecological responsibility and technical innovation. 
One of his most notable contributions is the invention of Graphic Concrete, a patented technology that allows for intricate patterns on concrete surfaces, revolutionizing architectural facades worldwide. This innovation has been utilized in various international projects, including collaborations with renowned architects and institutions. His furniture designs, such as the Clash chair series, are celebrated for their minimalist aesthetics and functional elegance, earning accolades like the GOOD DESIGN® Award. Additionally, Naamanka’s Compos collection showcases his dedication to sustainability, featuring furniture made from 100% biodegradable natural composite fibers.
