BrogliatoTraverso

BrogliatoTraverso is an Italian design studio founded in 2014 by architects Alberto Brogliato and Federico Traverso, both graduates of the IUAV University of Venice. Their diverse experiences, including learning glassblowing in Murano and working with traditional ceramics in Japan, have deeply influenced their design philosophy.

The studio’s approach, termed “NO TIME, NO SPACE,” aims to create timeless and context-independent objects. By focusing on subtraction and subtle detailing, their designs establish a profound empathy with users and their surroundings. Their notable works include the “Newood” chair series for Cappellini and the “Lost” and “Bouquet” lighting collections for Magis.

Their commitment to innovation and refined aesthetics has earned them numerous international accolades, including the Red Dot Design Award, German Design Award, iF Design Award, and Good Design Award.
